Call To Order

The quorum for annual membership meetings shall be 20 percent of the members in good standing. The quorum for this meeting, based on current number of members in good standing, is 4.

Additional nominations

Additional nominations may be made at the annual membership meeting by any member in attendance, provided that the person so nominated does not decline when their name is proposed, and provided further that if the proposed candidate is not in attendance at the meeting, the proposed shall present to the Secretary a written statement from the proposed candidate signifying willingness to be a candidate.

This revised premium list is being issued to add D Course runs on Friday, April 11, 2025, and Saturday, April 12, 2025, only.  D Course will not be offered on Sunday, April 13, 2025.

In addition to High in Trial and Reserve High in Trial, we also offer High Combined (dog’s highest score/day combined for weekend), High Combined Junior,  High Combined French Breed (Beauceron, Briard, Picard, or Pyrenean Shepherd), and beautiful rainbow rosettes for every new title.

NEW!!! AKC INSTINCT TESTS & D COURSE. ENTRIES CLOSE SEPTEMBER 27, 2024

The Pacific Northwest Herding Club has added AKC Instinct Test Certification and Course D to the October 4-6 Trials.  The event will be held at PackLeader Farm near Gig Harbor.  

The instinct tests are limited to 12 runs per day and you will need two legs under two different judges to receive the AKC certification.  We will have experienced handlers and the two judges available to assist, no previous livestock exposure is necessary. These certifications are rarely offered outside of national specialties so here is your chance to run your dog locally.

D Course entries have already reached the limit on some days.  A waitlist is being maintained and we will do our best to accommodate competitors.

Entries have not reached run limits on A, B, and C courses and HT and PT.  But don't delay.  Entries close Friday 9/27/24.
